Hi!

Is it possibe to compare only files with the same name, independent from the directory structure?

The problem is that our project structure changed but not the file names; it is necessary to merge files in old and new projects.

thx

You can set this option by repeated clicking on the check box.
You need WinMerge 2011 for the feature to be available.

Nevermind. I just realized WinMerge 2011 was not a version per se, its an unofficial release. Why wouldn't the official WinMerge have this feature?

WinMerge 2011 has a richer set of features because it benefits from bypassing the mainline approval process.

Hi, I just installed the latest WinMerge 2011 but the "ignore folder structure" text is missing.

Has this option/functionality been removed?

Thanks

The check box has ternary logic. When it is checked, click it once again to get the ignore folder structure behavior.
